The Mike Schell Benefit Tournament brought the cornhole community together for an afternoon of competition and support at the Salol Rink. Eleven teams competed in the double's tournament, helping raise $1,480 for Mike Schell and showing what our local cornhole community can accomplish when it comes together for a great cause.

EVENT RECAP
The Mike Schell Benefit Tournament brought 11 teams together at the Salol Rink for an afternoon of competitive cornhole with a much bigger purpose.
Mike was recently diagnosed with Neuroendocrine Carcinoma, a rare and aggressive form of cancer. The benefit was organized to help Mike and his family with the financial burden associated with treatment, travel, medical expenses, and the challenges that come with his diagnosis.
The cornhole community came together to show its support, and by the end of the event, $1,480 had been raised for Mike. Father Like Son finished in first place, Crouching Tiger took second, and Hole Patrol rounded out the podium in third.
More than the results on the boards, the tournament showed what can happen when players, organizers, volunteers, families, and supporters come together to help someone in their community.
