SEASON RECAP
The 2025–2026 Winter Doubles League brought 12 teams together at Springsteel Resort & Marina for eight weeks of Thursday night competition. With a mix of skill levels and a handicap system designed to keep games competitive, teams battled through a 40-game regular season while building chemistry with their partners week after week.
Northern Minnesota Gnomes finished on top with an impressive 35–5 record, followed by Father Like Son at 32–8 and Biggie and Smalls at 28–12. The Gnomes also led the league with a 7.33 team PPR, +2.99 DPR, and 35 four-baggers, putting together the strongest overall statistical season.
Beyond the standings, the league gave players eight weeks of consistent competition, practice, and time together on the boards. From close games and improving teams to different skill levels competing side by side, the season continued what Roseau County Cornhole leagues are about — competition, improvement, and community.
The regular season ultimately set the stage for the End-of-League Tournament, giving everyone one final chance to compete and close out another winter of cornhole in Roseau County.
THANK YOU

Thank you to Springsteel Resort & Marina for giving us a place to host the league, and to everyone who helped with setup, scoring, boards, and keeping the league running each week. The time and effort behind the scenes helped make the season possible.
